What is spiritual direction?

You have been alone, not being heard, or being seen. Some might call it Spiritual Trauma, and it is a real thing… It’s hurt! There is a lot to grief and a lot to vent!
I hear you, and I want to be here for you. God is the one who does the healing and I’ll provide you a safe space for it.
In your faith journey, do you sometimes have a desire to talk with someone who can support you to discern and foster attentiveness to God’s presence in your life? In times of decision, do you need someone who has a deep prayer life to come alongside and to assist you in listening to God? Do you have a longing and interest to deepen in your relationship with God through prayer, but need some guidance along the way?
For example, here are some of the questions that you might be experiencing in your faith journey:
Am I comfortable in God’s presence? What am I praying about?
What is happening in my life? How am I responding to what is happening in my life?
Where do I see God active in my life happenings? Who is God for me?
How do I deal with the fact that I don’t like the above questions?
Spiritual Direction is a process whereby a spiritual director assists another in making sense of their experience with God. Provide resources to encourage people in their prayer lives. Also, to suggest spiritual practices that can be applied in daily living.
